A masterpiece?
In terms of reconstructing what the superhero genre means, it can hold its own against Watchmen. If Watchmen is a requiem for superheroes, then Glass is their epic.
Of course, Watchmen’s classic status is beyond dispute. Glass, though? People who love it might, like me, love it so much they tremble from head to toe. People who don’t will say, “What kind of crap is this?”
