Once upon a time, there was a middle-aged guy:

He lived in a world that was thoroughly rotten:

The middle-aged guy got by with a not-so-glamorous job:

His heart was ice-cold. He shut himself off, convinced that this was the only way to survive in a chaotic world:

The middle-aged guy liked a drink now and then:

One day, a little girl appeared:

In that thoroughly rotten world, a gang of thoroughly rotten bad guys were hunting the little girl:

Somewhere out there, in the land of poetry and distant horizons, there was a “shelter”—the little girl would be safe only there:

The middle-aged guy reluctantly set out to escort the little girl to the shelter:

Along the way, they went through every hardship imaginable:

Because of the little girl, the ice in the middle-aged guy’s heart slowly melted:

He began to understand that he hadn’t saved the little girl; she had caught him at the edge of humanity’s descent:

From then on, escorting the little girl was no longer a mission, but a responsibility:

Unfortunately, the bad guys still found the little girl:

“Touch my little girl and I’ll drag you all straight to hell.” —

The middle-aged guy bled his last drop of blood:

The little girl was safe. She missed the middle-aged guy very much:

Once upon a time, there was one final middle-aged guy:

He lived in a world that was thoroughly rotten:

The middle-aged guy got by with a not-so-glamorous job:

His heart was ice-cold. He shut himself off, convinced that this was the only way to survive in a chaotic world:

This middle-aged guy didn’t drink:

After every danger, the middle-aged guy finally delivered the little girl to the shelter:

The people in the shelter told him that the little girl carried within her the secret to saving this thoroughly rotten world:
The little girl dies, humanity is saved:

However,
“Touch my little girl and I’ll drag you all straight to hell.” —

The middle-aged guy slaughtered the people who wanted to save humanity and rescued the little girl:

Together, they went to humanity’s last paradise:

The middle-aged guy didn’t think there was anything to feel guilty about in destroying humanity’s last hope with his own hands:
Maybe the world’s downfall was exactly what made it possible for him. Who knows? Maybe the world collapsed simply so he and the little girl could be together:
Fuck the world! I just want to save my girl!
